We’re well known for our relaxed style, and you sure won’t find us clearing out the minute the dinner plates are stacked. We won’t even throw you the tea towel to help with the dishes– unless of course you want an excuse to hang around the kitchen for a chit chat.
What’s it like in camp?
True, we have a great reputation for hospitality but you’ll also find us pretty down to earth. At the estate lodges you’ll find a professional chef, hostess and housekeepers – all warm personalities at the top of their game. And then there’s Ian, he’s the life of the camp and keeps everyone happy. Just don’t make him eat broccoli and everything will be ok.
Go ahead, help yourself
We want you to feel as comfortable as you are at home. But you don’t really need to lift a finger around the lodge – we’ll keep your drinks topped up and the fire roaring. But all said and done, we leave you enough space to wander into the chef’s kitchen and make a coffee or help yourself to the beer fridge. And if you’re tempted to put your mitts into the cookie jar, go right ahead. Take two.
Will you like us?
We love to get to know our guests and have a few laughs so you won’t be a stranger for long. And if you’ve got even a smidgen of a funny bone - chances are we’ll get along just fine. Hopefully brilliantly.
