Relax and enjoy time out on the ranch at the health centre with beauty treatments, go for a horse trek or even learn to fly fish.  There's over 100 miles of walking and mountain biking trails, 25 miles of private river frontage  - completely idillic with a good book, and we're always happy to throw together a gourmet picnic lunch.

Spend a luxurious morning being pampered with a massage or beauty treatment at the ranch health centre,  then be whisked off by your personable guide for a long, lazy lunch at a stunning waterfront cafe just 35 minutes away at Lake Taupo.

At Lake Taupo you can dabble in a lake cruise or a little retail therapy - you may be pleased to know we're not too far from our favorite little shoe store and there's always time to stop for a good coffee or sneaky glass of wine.  Sometimes, life's most enjoyable pleasures are the simplest.

What's also fantastic is that are only one hour away from the Pacific coast and Hawke's Bay, a true jewel in New Zealand's crown.  This is wine country at its best with a somewhat Mediterranean climate and so much to see and do, your day excursion options are endless. 

Famous Rotorua with bubbling mud pools,  geysers and indigenous culture is also a favorite of many, reachable in 1.5 hours.  And if you want something a little faster than the road trip - we have helicopters at your fingertips at the ranch.  Easy.
